Power Soccer Players Thank Kelliann Gerlach
Tampa Thunder Coach Dan Gorman, far right, and the power soccer team presented a special award to Community Center Recreation Facility Manager Kelliann Gerlach as a thank you after holding a tournament recently in Safety Harbor. Players are (l-r): Rayn Coton, Danny Gorman and Team Captain Elio Navarro. The team and its coach have been invited to be Parade Marshals for the city’s annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 16.

“Don’t you dare take my picture,” Beth Kant protested, but co-worker Michelle Umstead held her in place on Halloween as the two judged the winning entry in a “bean counting” contest held at the Tech Café in downtown Safety Harbor. Customer Caren Murphy guessed most closely, estimating 2,000 coffee beans and only missing the mark by three from the actual count of 1,997.
