Marcy Daniels Celebrates 30th Anniversary As Realtor

Back in 1976, when Marcy Daniels began her real estate career, Pinellas County and Tampa Bay area were very different than they are today. Citrus groves, ranches, peacock farms and active railroad transportation weren’t just fond memories for the citizens and visitors in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

Daniels began her real estate career after attending the University of Tampa. She said she was keenly aware of how the area was changing. Modern conveniences had finally found Tampa Bay. Large department stores were built in the downtowns, national retail businesses included Tampa Bay on their rosters, homes and condos were being built everywhere and “snow birds” began to move here and live full time in the region.

Daniels still considers Pinellas County “paradise” and is proud that her customers agree. She has continued her real estate education, adding GRI (graduate, Real Estate Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) to her list of accomplishments. She also lists the Certified Luxury, Waterfront and Relocation Specialist designations on her resume.

“The Daniels Advantage Team” was created when her husband, Scott, and assistant Debbie Golomb became licensed. Together, they have been a wonderful resource to their local and relocating buyers. They have been successful in helping their sellers with smooth transitions and satisfying results.

9/11 Freedom Walk in Safety Harbor

Safety Harbor residents, city officials, members of Safety Harbor Fire Rescue and Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputies participated in a “Freedom Walk” commemorating the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attack.

Boy Scouts carried the flag and walkers included students of all ages, veterans and more. A ceremony was held at the marina’s Veterans Park before the walk.

Chiropractic Office Opens In Hidden Oaks Office Plaza

Clearwater/Safety Harbor area chiropractor Dr. Frank P. Hubbard recently held a Grand Opening Party at his new office at 1700 McMullen-Booth Road, Suite B3, at the intersection of S.R. 590 in the Hidden Oaks Office Plaza. Joining him for the well attended event were associates Dr. John Martin and massage therapist Kathy Witt, who helped put on the festivities.

More than 140 people from the community attended the event, which was highlighted by an official ribbon cutting by the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce staff.  In addition to food and drinks, guests were entertained by a demonstration of diagnostic ultrasonic video imaging of internal body parts and extremities. The equipment currently is being used by the office to identify chiropractic problems in the neck, back, and extremities, as an alternative to more expensive CAT scans and MRI studies. Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Martin, and Kathy Witt wish to thank the community for their support and to invite anyone who is seeking a natural holistic approach to healthcare, to come back to the office anytime they have a problem. Rebecca Galiher-Jones

 Rebecca Galiher-Jones Joins Re/Max Realtec As Associate

Rebecca Galiher-Jones has been a resident of Safety Harbor since 1995.

She is very familiar with the town and said she loves the old oak trees and ambiance of the community.

A graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, she has a long history of working in real estate and the mortgage industry.

Galiher-Jones was a mortgage underwriter for more than 7 years and has many delegations including her FHA Direct Underwriting and V.A. Automatic and Lapp Certifications, which allow her to underwrite loans on behalf of the Federal Housing Administration and The Veterans Administration. Both of these certifications require many years of experience in order to receive them.

She received her real estate license in 2003 and in 2006 passed her real estate brokers exam to be licensed as a real estate broker.
