Clearwater Under The Oaks Show Calls For Crafters E-mail
Wednesday, 13 August 2008

The GFWC Clearwater Junior Woman's Club, Inc. is searching for crafters for its 31st annual arts and crafts show, Christmas Under the Oaks. This year's event will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15-16 in Clearwater's downtown Coachman Park.

The club is seeking crafters who 'hand-make' original crafts. No mass-produced manufactured items are allowed. A new option this year is that crafters have the option of participating in both show days or only one day. However, spaces are limited for one day participation.

Self-Help Legal Software Available Online E-mail
Friday, 08 August 2008

Pinellas County residents have a new convenient option of using helpful software to complete legal forms at home.

The Pinellas County Clerk’s Self Help Center for affordable legal services now offers its user-friendly software online through the clerk’s website, http://www.pinellasclerk.org, Ken Burke, Clerk of the Circuit Court, has announced.

Available from any computer, this remote access to the legal forms required for filing tenant evictions, divorce and small claims cases eliminates the need to visit the Clerk’s Self Help Center for assistance.

By paying with a credit card, citizens may use the software to complete small claims, landlord/tenant and family law forms from the convenience of their home computer.

The software contains “easy-to-follow instructions’ for completing the paperwork.

“It walks users through filling out forms. The user simply answers questions about their case and the software populates the legal form by inserting the answers in the right space,” said Burke. “Once they have completed answering the questions, the software will generate the forms in a neat, printable format.”

The user will have the access to their online forms to make changes for up to seven days, after which the forms will no longer be available to view or print. The $5 fee for use of this specialized software, plus the cost of the applicable packet is payable by credit card, according to Burke.

“After you conveniently complete your forms at home, your paperwork can be filed in the Clerk’s Office accompanied by the appropriate filing fees listed in the instructions, Burke said.
