The Safety Harbor Garden Club has selected
the garden at 1705 County Trails, Safety Harbor as Garden of the
Month for October. This home is owned by Todd and Nicole Thayer and
their two children, Carson, 7, and Avery, 4.
The right side of the
garden has a rock retaining wall surrounding a large oak tree.
Evergreens, a palm tree and a sculpture of a large bird
enhance the raised wall. Seasonal mums outline the edge of the
wall. A fountain is located on the right side of the walk leading
to the front entrance. Two tall palms are situated on each
side of the driveway near the garage.
Grass covers
the remainder of the garden which is tastily decorated for
Halloween with grave stones and The Grim Reaper, among the mums. A
skeleton hangs above the entrance way and Casper the
Ghost floats from a tree limb.
