Caladesi DAR Celebrates 33rd Anniversary |

Members of Caladesi Chapter, National
Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) recently
celebrated the chapters' 33rd anniversary of its founding with a
luncheon at the Clearwater Country Club. Fifty members
attended including five past Regents and the current Regent, Rose
Warren.
Barry Bohnet, representing the
National Armed Services and Law Enforcement Memorial Museum in
Dunedin, spoke on "The Early Fur Trade in America," and displayed
artifacts from the colonial period.
Members of the Caladesi Chapter
assist in genealogy searches at the Dunedin Public Library 1-3 p.m.
every Thursday. No appointment is necessary.
Any woman 18 years or older who can prove
lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is invited
to join the DAR. Call 727-787-2491.
