The Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project along
with artists from American Stage and the Tampa Bay community
present their homage to World AIDS Day, 2007 with "Creating A
Quilt: A World Aids Day Celebration," Monday, Nov. 19 at the
American Stage Theatre Company, 211 Third St. S., St. Petersburg.
The 90-minute show celebrates the courage of living with AIDS and
commemorates the survivors as well as those who have passed on
through a series of monologues and songs threaded together by
volunteers' experiences while making a quilt panel in memory of a
loved one.
Proceeds from the event will benefit FACT (For AIDS Care
Today), an organization that provides services to people living
with HIV and AIDS.
Actors in the photograph above are (l-r): Eric
Davis, T. Scott Wooten, Joe Parra, Larry Buzzeo and Julie Rowe.
