John Henry Howland, 89, Safety Harbor, died November 25, 2007 at home. He was born February 3, 1918 in Flushing, NY and came here in 1973. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He also was a U.S. Customs Agent. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; two sons: Robert, Safety Harbor, and John, Wilmington, NC; and five grandchildren.

James "Glen" Hunsaker, 86, Clearwater died December 2, 2007. Born September 15, 1921 in Norton, VA, he grew up in Whitesburg, KY. He served in the Army during WWII and moved to Clearwater 40 years ago. He loved wood carving. He was a member of the American Legion Post 238, Safety Harbor and the VFW. He is survived by six daughters: Elizabeth, Glenna, Donna, Barbra, Debra, Susan; a son, Jason; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Ted Vitale, 65, Safety Harbor, died December 17, 2007 at Mease Countryside Hospital. Born in Queens, NY, he moved to this area in 2001 from Long Island, NY, after retiring from Nabisco, also on Long Island. Memberships included Teamsters Local #807, Patchogue Medford High School Father's Club, both of Long Island. Survivors include his wife, Christina; two sons, Mark, Safety Harbor, John, Long Island; a daughter, Jennifer Miglino, Long Island; two granddaughters, Ashley and Isabella; his mother, Marion, Safety Harbor; and a twin brother, Stephen, of Dallas, TX.

David H. Lubell, 80, Safety Harbor, died December 19, 2007 at Manor Care of Palm Harbor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he came here in 1987 from Bethpage, NY, where he worked for the school system. He is survived by Ruth, his wife of almost 52 years; and his three sons Steven A., Glenn A. and Richard I., all of Safety Harbor.

Robert Raffaele Mulcahy, 43, Safety Harbor, died December 19, 2007 in Clearwater. He was born December 27, 1963 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from the University of Alabama May 18, 1991 with a degree in law and practiced law in the State of Florida for the past 16 years. He had a passion for cooking and felt most comfortable in the kitchen preparing gourmet meals for family and friends. His hobbies included scuba diving and photography. He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Alex and Eleanor Bell; grandfather, Raffaele Pedonesi; father, Robert F. Mulcahy; stepfather, Benjamin F. DuBois; nephew, Larry Jo Tuxburry. He is survived by: fiancée Susan Moore, FL; mother Amy Young; sisters Sherry (Donald) Solley, FL, Donna (Lonie) Nehrenz, OH, Cynthia (Thomas) Snyder, OH; Benjamin DuBois (Shirly), FL, Cheryl Tuxburry (Larry) FL; close friends Greg Case, AL, and Joann Rau, OH; eight nephews; and three nieces.

Germaine Oliver, 80, Safety Harbor, died December 27, 2007. She is survived by Laura Pflum.

Alvin Larson, 88, Safety Harbor, died December 31, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, June; a daughter, Julie; son-in-law, Jerry; and grandchildren, Melissa and Mike.
