LRMA Hosts Two Highwaymen Exhibitions |

The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art also is featuring two exhibitions, “The Highwaymen” and “Highwaymen Paintings,” featuring the work of Florida’s Highwaymen artists, beginning Jan. 26 and continuing through Mar. 9.
“The Highwaymen” is a national touring exhibition from the collection of Geoff Cook being circulated by the Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando, and “Highwaymen Paintings” is a premiere exhibition of 22 paintings from the family collection of George Algernon Speer, Jr. Speer was a prominent prosecuting attorney in Sanford, FL and one of the early collectors of Highwaymen art.
The museum is located on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College, 600 Klosterman Road (corner of Belcher and Klosterman roads). Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tues.-Sat.; 5-9 p.m. Thurs.; 1- p.m. Sun. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday admission is free to all and docent tours are offered at 2 p.m. Call 727-712-5762.
