The Safety Harbor Library has unveiled a new computer kiosk designed to bring the library’s catalog to its citizens. The first of its kind in Pinellas County, the touch screen kiosk is housed at the Safety Harbor Community Center and allows anyone to quickly and easily browse the library’s database for books, movies, and other materials.
The kiosk was purchased through a partnership with the Chrissie Elmore Shull Library Trust Fund and Knology, Inc.
“The library is always looking for new ways to bring our services to community residents,” said Library Director Lana Bullian. “This kiosk does just that. We’re excited about this technology and happy to be a front runner in the county when it comes to using technology in new ways.”
