The Pasco Arts Council, in partnership with Centennial Park Library in Holiday, announces the second annual Jacaranda Poetry Festival Contest. Open to all poets everywhere, entries must be previously unpublished and submitted to PAC with a postmark dated no later than Sat., Mar. 15.
Entry fee is $3 per poem; checks should be made payable to the Pasco Arts Council and sent to PAC at 5744 Moog Rd., Holiday, FL 34690-2354. Two copies of each poem should be sent, one with the poet’s name, address, and telephone number; the other without identification which will be given to the judges to read.
All winners, including Honorable Mention Poets, will be invited to read their own entries at the Jacaranda Festival to be held this year at Centennial Park Library, adjacent to Pasco Arts Council, on Sat., April 5 and to have their poems published on the council’s website. Monetary prize awards and certificates will be awarded at that time.
