Used cell phones can help raise funds for the Kiwanis Club of Tarpon Springs. Donations help protect the environment since unwanted cell phones will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and reused.
Mary Watts, president of the Kiwanis Club of Tarpon Springs, said, “This recycling program assists in bringing communications to people who could not otherwise afford it.”
Donations are accepted at Panera Bread or Publix Super Market, both in the Tarpon Mall, Tarpon Springs. For more information, call 727-947-4957 or email
