The Pinellas County Clerk’s office has partnered with Amscot Financial to begin accepting payments for Pinellas County traffic citations and fines at any Florida Amscot location, Clerk of the Court Ken Burke has announced.
Amscot will charge a non-refundable $2 convenience fee for this service. Amscot will take payments for any payable traffic citation and/or any traffic case that has been adjudicated and has a pending account receivable. It will be necessary to present a copy of the citation at the Amscot location.
“Many Amscot locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are conveniently located throughout the state,” said Burke. “Amscot’s operating hours offer our customers a similar convenience as paying online or via telephone for a lower service charge than with those two payment options.”
In fact, according to Burke, Pinellas County is the first to take court traffic payments through Amscot. Nearest Amscot locations may be found at www.amscotfinancial.com.
