Events of interest to the community at large are welcomed for inclusion in the Tropical Breeze monthly events calendars. Arts events, theater performances and gallery shows generally are included in the calendars in the Arts & LifeStyles section. Announcements and updates should be sent to Tropical Breeze Calendar, P.O. Box 585, Safety Harbor, FL 34695 by the 15th of the month for the next month. "Granny's Home Gadgets," new exhibit of gadgets and pre-electricity appliances used in cooking, sewing and washing. "Hands-on" and interactive items for the family included. Also, through Sept. 8, "Spanish Exploration in Florida," an exhibition covering the first Europeans to visit Florida and their lasting impact.
