Pinellas County’s only snow ski club will hold its annual kickoff meeting at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at the Bilmar Beach Resort, 10650 Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island. Six winter ski trips will be showcased for the Clearwater/St. Petersburg Ski and Sports Club’s upcoming ski season. The evening also will begin a fundraising effort for the Bay Pines Disabled Veteran Winter Sports Team.
With trips planned to Snowmass, CO; Copper, CO; Winter Park, CO; Park City, UT; Whistler, BC; and, Cortina, Italy, there will be trips for all levels of skiers and at various price levels.
This season marks the 25th anniversary of the not-for-profit Clearwater/St. Pete Ski and Sports Club and club members will be sharing pictures and newsletters from the previous 25 years.
