“Treasures of the Harbor,” an inaugural event to benefit the Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation, will be held 6–10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. The event will honor Safety Harbor’s treasured volunteers with an evening of fun, food and entertainment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the “Jewels of Safety Harbor,” citizens of our city who are outstanding community volunteers. These citizen treasure winners were nominated by their neighbors and selected by a panel of judges.
Judges include:
John Little, Safety Harbor Fire Department; Gail Smith, a 29-plus year employee of the City of Safety Harbor; Reverend Joan Hill, Pastor, First Presbyterian Church of Safety Harbor; Jeff Bronson, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department; and, Floyd Egner, Publisher, Tropical Breeze.
In island elegant attire, enjoy a themed dinner, cash bar, music, and live and silent auctions. Auction items include the opportunity to place your name on Library Lane for one year in front of the newly renovated library main entrance.
Reservations are $75 per person and available now at the Safety Harbor Public Library, 101 2nd St. N.
