I recommend the safest, most humane collar ever invented. It is the Sporn No Pull Halter Collar. For the zillionth time I recommended it this morning. While walking my own dog, in the Sporn No Pull Halter Collar, I encountered a woman walking her young Labrador retriever. The woman was not frail, small in stature, decrepit or elderly. Quite to the contrary! She was active, strong and exuding vitality! However, her fifty pound black Labrador was pulling her unmercifully. The woman was using a choke chain on her dog and the dog was totally ignoring the chain. The poor woman was “being walked/pulled” by her precious sweetheart. Heaven forbid a bird, squirrel, rabbit, etc. would have darted across their path! The poor lady would have had her arm pulled out of her shoulder!I asked her to follow me to my car. I retrieved a large Sporn No Pull Halter Collar from the interior. I put it on her dog and told her to take her dog for a walk. She did so and the dog was immediately an elegant lady strolling along quite peacefully. It was a beautiful sight to behold. I demonstrated how to very simply and easily slip on and remove the collar. The sweet lady said that all the dog trainers she had encountered had recommended the gentle leader, the choke chain, and other harnesses, etc. Nothing had worked as wonderfully as this Sporn No Pull Halter collar. She asked me why no dog trainer had recommended this collar. I told her that they had not been walking dogs for 15 years on the streets where the unexpected is always encountered. I ONLY trust and use this collar on every dog I walk. In 15 years of dog walking this collar has saved many lives. It is the safest and most humane collar ever invented.Actually, one might assume that a dog trainer is focused on training. I am entirely focused on safety. I have never had an arm pulled away from my shoulder and I have never had a dog slip out of the collar. Never. I am proud of that track record. The “streets” can and will throw anything and everything at you and the dog you are walking… you need the safest most humane method of dog walking at your disposal.
One lady reported hoisting her small poodle out of a lake after it plunged into the water! Yes, she simply lifted her up, up and onto dry land because she was secured in the Sporn No Pull Halter collar! Because of its unique design there was no collar choking the poor dear to death as she was dangling in mid air. And, a regular collar may very well have slipped off the dog anyway so there would have been another alligator lunch!
Remember, don’t feed the alligators!
