| Cooler October weather has brought manatees back to the warm waters surrounding the Safety Harbor Pier, just offshore from the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa. Manatees also may be attracted by spring water seeping into the bay, much like people have been drawn to the springs of Safety Harbor for thousands of years. This crowd of onlookers was gathered for the Harbor Sounds weekend of music, crafts and food at the Safety Harbor Marina. Next up, the Safety Harbor Wine Festival, Saturday, Nov. 8. |
