Greektown Grille is now open in Downtown Clearwater. The truly
authentic Greek restaurant from the Karamountzos family opened its
doors in late August and critics agree that the City of Clearwater has
a winner on its hands in the Greektown Grille.
The menu is filled with traditional Greek dishes that will rival
even traditional grandmother’s cooking. House Specialties including
Spanakopita (layers of crisp filo dough filled with spinach, cheese and
fresh herbs), Moussaka (eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and ground beef,
topped with Bechamel sauce), Pastitsio (layers of macaronia and
seasoned ground beef, topped with Bechamel sauce), and Chicken Pitas
are just the beginning of its varied and delicious menu. Arni Giuvetsi
(braised lamb shank in a red sauce) and Octapodi Skaras (Octopus
chargrilled with authentic Greek seasoning, drizzled with olive oil and
lemon) are some of its other authentic specialties that are second to
none. And for dessert, an order of Kantaifi (Shreaded filo dough,
walnuts and cinnamon, topped with a light syrup) will top off a genuine
Greek culinary experience.
All of the offerings at the Greektown Grille are moderately priced.
Appetizers range in price from $4 - $12. Entrees start at $8. They
are open for lunch daily and offer Express lunches for $7 - $8.
The décor of the Greektown Grill is as appealing as the varied menu.
Whether you choose to eat inside in the tastefully decorated main
dining room with high ceilings and rich colors or in the comfortable
banquet room, the atmosphere is sure to enhance the dining experience.
This large banquet room also doubles as a dance club with upbeat live
“new Greek” music played every weekend.

Doors open daily Monday to Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday
