There is going to be a great robotics competition for kids in March 21, 2009.

This is the 2009 Robofest Competition - this will be the first time in the Tampa bay area. The Robofest is a competition of autonomous robots — that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of computer science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Also, it is affordable! Kids can participate without having to spend hundreds of dollars and they can use any robotics kit (old, new and other materials)

Lawrence Technological University has selected a local venue and Official Robofest 2009 Regional Qualifying Site: Safety Harbor Community Center.

Kids are needed to form robotics teams to compete in this event!
