“Time For Three — Fiddles On Fire” are featured in the Thanksgiving weekend Raymond James Pops Concerts presented by The Florida Orchestra.
After turkey and football, it is an ideal way to spend Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.
Members of Time for Three are all in their 20s and recent graduates of the Curtis Institute of Music.
They are Zach DePue and Nick Kendall on violin, and Ranaan Meyer on double bass, performing locally on Thanksgiving weekend. They share infectious joy in the music they play; it is obvious whether it’s jazz, bluegrass, folk, classics, gypsy or pop.
The program will also include some orchestra standards, all of which show the orchestra’s own fiery fiddle sections.
Actor Paul Newman said of Time for Three, “To hear these three young guys is to be thankful that music was invented… If I had been able to create a sound like these kids a few years back, I might have thought twice about going into acting!”
Time for Three will perform:

· Saturday, Nov. 29, 8 p.m., Progress Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theatre, St. Petersburg
· Sunday, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m., Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater
