Subject Was Roses by
Frank D. Gilroy,
Feb
6-22, 2009 at Venue Theatre, 9125 US 19 N, Pinellas Park,
FL.
A young man returns from
WWII to find his parents are strangers--to him and each
other-- in this powerful
drama that won the Pulitzer Prize and Best Play Tony Award
in 1965. The
story deals with personal growth, dreams and reality, and love and
family.
THE SUBJECT
WAS ROSES is directed by Rob Sakoff
and stars John Chaplin, Matt Emmons, and Mary Morris.
Performances are Feb 6 – 22, 2009.
Friday and Saturday performances are at
8 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm.
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is our
designated benefit organization for this production.
Venue Theatre donates $1 from every ticket sold
to the benefit organization.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for
Seniors/Students.
