REGISTRATION OPEN
The Tampa Museum of Art (TMA) is offering a new Spring Art Camp, April 6 - 9, 2009, that coincides with the spring break schedule at public schools throughout the Tampa Bay area. The four-day program is geared for children between the ages of 6 - 10, and is offered as half-day (morning or afternoon) and full-day sessions.
The Spring Art Camp
program will offer exciting hands-on activities throughout the day, and
will encourage students to push their creative boundaries. Themed activities include animation, design, puppetry, printmaking, sculpture, drawing, and painting. The
camp program cost is $35 for a half-day session, and $50 for a full-day
session. A $10 discount on either session is available to TMA members.
The morning session will be held from 9 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., and the
afternoon session will be scheduled from 12:45 - 4 p.m. (drop
off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick-up ends at 4:30 p.m.), with before-and
after-care available on site at the museum's interim location at 2306
N. Howard Avenue in Tampa.
