Mother's Day Symphony Concert at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa E-mail

Safety Harbor Resort and Spa and LifeLink Foundation present The Florida Orchestra in a “Symphony of Life” outdoor concert on Mother’s Day weekend.  This free performance will take place on the resort’s Bay view lawn at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 10.  A free fireworks display will light up the sky immediately following the concert. 

Guests planning to attend this concert are invited to enjoy a variety of specials offered by the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in conjunction with this Mother’s Day event.

·         The Symphony of Life concert package includes seating on the upper pool deck beginning at 6:30 p.m., one hour before the concert.  The cost is $25 per person and includes a bottle of wine (or sparkling cider), cheese and fruit plate.

Mother’s Day brunch is also being offered at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  This sumptuous brunch includes carving, omelet and pasta stations, along with the never-ending dessert table.   The cost for adults is $37; children under 12 are $14.95.

·         Or, guests can make it a weekend of relaxation and music.  The $249 special includes a one night stay at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, choice of 25 minute spa facial or massage for two people and concert seating on the upper pool deck with wine and cheese.

Guest conductor Stuart Chafetz leads The Florida Orchestra in a varied program of symphonic and pop favorites, including Dvorak’s Carnival Overture, Strauss’ Voices of Spring, the Bacchanale from Saint-Saen’s Samson and Dalila, Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien, John Williams’ Liberty Fanfare, Kenneth Alford’s Colonel Bogey March, selections for Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady and Tchaikovksy’s 1812 Overture.
