Seven women are collaborating in a new art exhibit, "In Thru The
Outdoors," opening Sunday, Jan. 7 at Clay & Paper Gallery in
Dunedin. The artists have created a multitude of pieces for the show
during the past 10 months, all inspired by the outdoors. Many of the
pieces are multi-media collaborations, sometimes started by one artist
and finished by others. Pieces include furniture, decorative
accessories and garden art for indoors and out. The seven artists all
belong to the "Garden Fairies," a cooperative gardening club that
boasts more than 200 members from throughout the Bay area, many of whom
are professional artists.
Posing
around one of their creations, above (l-r), are Rike Kallaugher,
Barbara Melby-Burhans, Patti Bacun, Kiaralinda, Shannon O'Leary- Beck
and (seated) Heather Richardson and Siobhan Nehin.
An
opening reception will be held 6 -8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at Clay &
Paper Gallery, located with the Painted Fish Gallery along the Pinellas
Trail, 350 Main St., Dunedin.
