Tropical Breeze In Colorado

Judi Honiker, a Clearwater resident, took Tropical Breeze along on a three-week journey to Colorado and New Mexico.
While staying in Manitou Springs, Judi and her sister, Carol Carlson, visited Pikes Peak summit — 14,110 feet via the world’s highest cog railway. A crisp, clear day of only 10 above made for a spectacular 360 degree view.
They also spent a day at the Garden of the Gods, a collection of unusual rock formations in the foothills west of Colorado Springs. The park is a sightseeing heaven and photographer’s dream, she said.
