Safety Harbor Kiwanis Salutes Local Students

Eryn Rowe, student of the month at Safety Harbor Elementary School, with Joleen Ross, art teacher, far left, and Lou Remz, Kiwanis president.

The Safety Harbor Kiwanis Club each month salutes and honors students selected by teachers in Safety Harbor schools. Students are selected for various qualities and attitudes, including outstanding abilities and performance.

In addition to honoring Rowe and her teacher Joleen Ross in October, the club also saluted Jorge Sandoval, who was selected as student of the month for Safety Harbor Secondary School. He was honored at a luncheon along with School Safety Officer Eric Tinsley and his mother, Nancy Sandoval.
