Safety Harbor Garden Of The Month
Safety Harbor Garden Club chose this home at 1709 Main St., Safety
Harbor as garden of the month.
Beautiful poinsettias surround the many
fountains as well as a variety of Florida friendly plants and trees
that are easily visible to passersby on the busy street.
The owners of
the property are Stuart McPherson, center, and Jimmy Thomas, who are
shown above with Violet Dumanowski, the club’s founder (1991) and
honorary member.
The club now has more than 70 active members. Marlene
Kelley, co-president of the club, is at right. Club meetings are held
the third Wednesday of the month at the Safety Harbor library. For a
