Clearwater Marine Aquarium Names Volunteer Of Month |

Lori Mecca was named April
2007 Volunteer of the Month at the Clearwater Marine
Aquarium.
A dedicated volunteer since January 2006,
she is a valuable member of the Marine Mammals Department,
according to Dawn De Santis, volunteer coordinator. Her dedication
and knowledge are much appreciated by all at the Clearwater Marine
Aquarium, she said.
“Lori’s favorite thing to do
at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is to serve and learn about the
animals,” De Santis said. “She enjoys their individual
personalities, watching them grown and increasing her understanding
of them. She also enjoys educating people about how they can help
CMA care for the animals and protect them.”
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is located at
249 Windward Passage (Island Estates), Clearwater.
