Robert A. Freedman, president and CEO of
Ruth Eckerd Hall and Executive Director of the Performing Art
Center (PAC) Foundation has announced that Barbara Mazer Gross has
been appointed as the new Director of Development of the PAC
Foundation.
As director of development for the
foundation, she will oversee all functions of the organization and
assist Freedman with all fundraising activities. The PAC
Foundation is responsible for raising more than $2.4 million per
year to help support the programs of Ruth Eckerd Hall.
Gross is currently the Director of
Development of American Stage Theater in St. Petersburg.
During her tenure at American Stage, she increased contributed
income by 24% and was able to significantly increase Foundation
grants.
Prior to that, she was Programming
Director and Cantorial Soloist of Temple B’nai Israel in
Clearwater; the Program Director of Gateways and earlier, the
Children’s Programming Coordinator for the JCC of Columbus in
Columbus, OH.
Since its inception in 1983, Ruth
Eckerd Hall has presented the finest quality programming in all
disciplines of the performing arts. The education program at
Ruth Eckerd Hall, the largest of its kind in the state of Florida,
has touched more than 1.5 million people with a commitment to
