Pinellas County Teen Guide To Service Learning Now Available |

In an effort to promote youth volunteerism
and help students in completing service learning projects the
Volunteer Action Center and 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. has
published the Pinellas County Teen Guide to Service Learning. The
guide lists 26 agencies in Pinellas County that have volunteer
opportunities for teens that need to complete 75 hours for the
Bright Futures Scholarship or for other service hour
requirements.

www.211tampabay.org. 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. makes this guide
available all year long.
2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. is the
place for people to contact to "Find Help or Give Help" 24 hours a
day 7 days a week in our community. People in need can
contact 2-1-1 for information on health and human services in our
community. Those who want to give back to the community can contact
2-1-1 to obtain information on where their volunteer time, skills,
and donations are most needed. 2-1-1 has 1,400 local social
services agencies listed and currently services Pinellas, Hernando
and Citrus counties.
