The Suncoast Water Works Synchronized
Swimming Team based in Largo has returned from Gainesville big
winners after its first swimming meet of the season, "Synch in the
Swamp" Feb. 10-11. Competing against other Florida-based Synchro
teams, blue ribbons were won by three teams as well as a number of
swimmers, competing in Individual, Duet and Trio events. Winners in
the Novice Team event, ages 9-10, were A'Niysa Livingston, Carra
Madden, Kaelyn Maden and Karis Swank. Winners in the Intermediate
Team event, ages 13-15, were Gabrielle Andolino, Kayla Bell,
Anthonia Boulieris, Ashley Henry, Darrya Keshvari, Amanda Orsagos,
Nikki Sclafani and Molly Siegel. Winners in the Advanced Team
event, ages 13-15, were Katy Alexander, Sarah Cooke, Anna Dunwody,
Marissa Foreit, Kimberly Goyack, Emmy Minteer and Shea Souliere. In
addition to these team events Carra Madden won Novice Solo, ages
9-10, Allyson Atanasio and Karolina Zakarkaite won Novice Duets 8
and under, and A'Niysa Livingston, Kaelyn Madden and Karis Swank
won Novice Trio, ages 9-10. Karis Swank also took first in the
figures competition in the Novice class, ages 9-10. In the
Intermediate division Athonia Boulieris won Solo, ages 11-12 and
Gabrielle Andolino and Kayla Bell won Duet, ages 13-15. In the
Advanced division, Kimberly Goyack took first in Solo, ages 13-15
as well as first in Figures. Sarah Cooke, Kiberly Goyack and
Marissa Foreit also took first in Trios age 13-15. The next event
will be held in Orlando, Mar. 17-18, and the Suncoast Water Works
team is looking forward to defending its wins.
