To the Editor:
I was going to say thank you for listing
us in your events page. Yesterday I had the chance to look at a
copy of the February issue. Wow.
Thank you so much for the elegant article
on our event. That was quite generous of you. Far more than any of
us expected. The article was wonderfully written. I
especially love the tie-in to the history of the building. It
is our hope through this exhibit to allow the public to see art and
artists as real work and real workers in producing significant and
meaningful items to enhance as well as enrich lives. You captured
the spirit of our exhibit perfectly. Very nice job, sir. Very
nice.
Thank you again. Hope to see you
there.
Sincerely,
Martin F. Hennigan
the Angry Old Artist
Editor's Note: As reported in the
February edition of Tropical Breeze, Hennigan and four other local
artists, Zard Tompkins, Gainor Roberts, Wil Dawson and Kumpa
Tawornprom, are presenting "Industrial Chic," a one-night show
Sat., Mar. 10 at the Safety Harbor Complex, 1600 Tenth St. S., the
former Gulf Foundry.
