William S. Maguire, 86, Safety Harbor, died March 3, 2007 at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and came here in 2001 from Franklin Square, NY. He was a furniture salesman. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margaret; four sons, Kevin W., Palm Harbor, Stephen W., Land-O-Lakes, Michael W., East Northport, NY, and Mark W., Richmond, VA; and seven grandchildren.

Sharon B. Todman, 53, Safety Harbor, died March 6, 2007 at Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. She was born in Scranton, SC, and came to the area at an early age. She was a Marine Corps veteran and Baptist. Survivors include a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Celeste Cotton, both of Clearwater.

Larry Lee Lumberson, 58, Safety Harbor, died March 9, 2007 at home. Born in Tiffin, OH he came here in 1999 from Ft. Wayne, IN. He was an electronic technician in the aerospace industry, working for Smith's Aerospace in Clearwater and for 36 years for Raytheon. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Leann; a step-son, Cris Thompson, Indianapolis; his mother, Emma Lumberson, Upper Sandusky, MI; and a brother, Kevin, McKinney, TX.

Norma Louise Frodge, 77, Safety Harbor, died March 10, 2007 at home. She was born in Cincinnati. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family. Survivors include three children, David Glacken, Joseph Glacken and Michael Glacken; three daughters, Barbara Rooks Glacken, Tina Glacken, and Billie Jo Schott; three stepdaughters; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Marjorie L. Hougland, 85, Safety Harbor, died March 15, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lee; a son, Lee S. Hougland; three daughters, Linda Hachmeister, Bonnie Turner and Lori King; and six grandchildren, Margie, Alexis, Sam, Tyler, Evan and Chelsea.

Raymond G. Short, 94, of Homosassa, formerly of Safety Harbor, died March 17, 2007 in Inverness. Born in Pikeville, TN, he moved to Homosassa 30 years ago. He retired from the Clearwater Mattress factory after 40 years as a foreman and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa. He frequently attended the annual Friends of Safety Harbor picnic at Philippe Park. Survivors include three sons, C. Richard, Dunedin, Donald R., Atlanta, and J. Philip, St. Petersburg; a brother, Steven, Ocala; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Joyce E. Kramer, 80, Safety Harbor, died March 18, 2007 at West Bay Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Oldsmar. She was born in Sioux Falls, SD and came here from Huron, SD in 1968. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking and gardening. Survivors include two sons, Steve, Safety Harbor; Tom, Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Nancy Kramer, Largo; a brother, Clayton Nelson, Brandon, SD; three sisters, Opal Hardy, Renner, SD; Maxine Wilson, Harrisburg, SD; Verna Okeson, Sioux Falls; and three grandchildren.

Francis R. "Fritz" McDonald, 56, Safety Harbor, died March 21, 2007 at Mease Countryside Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, NY, and came here in 1979 from Akron, OH. He was a machinist and owned his own shop. He was Catholic. Survivors include a son, Michael, Land O'Lakes; two daughters, Michelle Matthews, Safety Harbor, and Samantha Trowell, Clearwater; his father, Charles, Ohio; four brothers, James, Orlando, Charles, Brooksville, Thomas, Seminole, and Mathew, McKinney, TX; two sisters, Kathy Wurst, Eufaula, AL, and Marge Seaman, Akron; and seven grandchildren.

Kenneth J. "Ken" Terry, 84, Safety Harbor, died March 22, 2007 at home. He was born December 19, 1922 in Rochester, NY and moved to the area in 1978 from Rochester. He was an executive accountant for Stromberg-Carlson. He was a decorated WWII veteran with the U.S. Army Air Forces. He was Catholic. He was a member of the Elks #24 in Rochester, an avid golfer and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores, Safety Harbor; daughters Lynn Lattimore, Safety Harbor, and Kaye Puschkin, Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Richard, Rochester, and Jack, Japan; a sister, Joanne Lay of Wilmington, DE; and two granddaughters, Lindsay and Karsen Lattimore.
