New National Geographic Documentary Runs With Story Of Himalayan Goji Juice E-mail
Tuesday, 01 May 2007

If you are going to run with Charles Engle, Ray Zahab, and Kevin Lin, you better pack a lunch. And a breakfast, and a dinner and a tent… and Himalayan Goji Juice!

The world's leading nutritionist and Master Herbalist, Dr. Earl Mindell, the original formulator of Himalayan Goji juice, spoke at the Himalayan Goji Conference held in Tampa in February. He related how this Goji juice helped these super athletes with endurance and recovery. National Geographic Channel now has a documentary in production about the feat.

The 3 Ultra Distance Runners ran across the Sahara Desert, 111 days and 4,000 miles across six countries. Experience and preparation were key to surviving a run across an entire continent.

Each runner brought his own unique story and motivations, but united around a love for Africa and a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of the people in the Sahara by risking their lives running coast-to-coast across the desert to prove that the impossible is possible. In the process they are bringing worldwide awareness to the people of the Sahara Desert and the challenges they face. Through the eyes of these runners, we learn the daily struggle for survival of these people. This reality is underscored by the recurring theme of water. The locals of this harsh desert spend two-and-a-half hours every day finding and cleaning their water for that day.

These personal stories are set against an incredible backdrop of the extreme beauty of the most unforgiving place on earth. The Running the Sahara expedition will be chronicled in a documentary film to be narrated by Academy Award-winner Matt Damon and directed by Academy Award-winner James Moll. Ben Affleck also is involved.

The Running the Sahara documentary will explore the physical and emotional impact of the runners tremendous strength and determination. It will relive the runner's life challenges and tribulations while encountering the struggles of Sahara's people along the journey. Water is the key to life, but the athletes also swear by Himalayan Goji Juice..

Charlie Engle, the trio's spokesperson, said, "I've been an ultra endurance athlete for 20 years and have tried every fitness and nutritional product available to me. Himalayan Goji Juice has provided the most powerful and fastest results I have ever experienced. The intensity of my workouts and the speed of recovery have increased greatly, and my focus and concentration are truly off the charts. It has helped my body's immune system to perform at such a high level, expediting muscle and cellular recovery before, during and after the races. I am a true believer that Himalayan Goji Juice is the fundamental cornerstone that helped our team go the distance."

Local distributors for Himalayan Goji Juice are Rosemary and Johnny Nadeau. For more information, call 727-669-9732 or visit RoJo.Freelife.com.
