Reader Opposes School Board Plan For Bus Terminal |

To the Editor:
Please find a new location for the
proposed school bus terminal.
I am personally distressed with how this
would alter the quality of life for the residents of Safety Harbor
and nearby communities. McMullen Booth Road is already a nightmare
without the additional traffic. We need Mease Countryside Hospital,
Fire House 53 and the Sheriff's Office just to name a few. The
additional 1,200 more vehicles in this area would severely hamper
these emergency services.
Additionally, it would destroy the
surrounding environment, pollute our air and increase the noise
level. I can't believe this is the only available location for a
new terminal. Please reconsider your decision.
