Elsie B. Lentricchia, 90, Safety Harbor, died August 2, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Beyer; her sister, Melva Jones; and two grandsons.

Bernice Randall, 89, Safety Harbor, died August 3, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara McLain, Safety Harbor.

Thomas Hopfner Pfahlert, 69, formerly of Safety Harbor, died of cancer August 4, 2007 in Lincolnton, NC. He was born March 23, 1938 in Toldeo, OH. He owned advertising agencies in Toldeo, Tampa and Safety Harbor before moving to Lincolnton in the early 1990s. He became Program Chairperson of the Graphic Design and Advertising Department at the Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and was an instructor there for 15 years. While at CPCC, he received the Instructor Recognition Award of Excellence in 2002 and again in 2003. He was given an award recognizing his 15 years of service to CPCC in May of 2006. He also was a guest commentator for National Public Radio out of Charlotte. Early in his professional life, while living in California, he won a Los Angeles Art Directors’ Gold Medal Award. One of his other great loves was the game of golf. He once said of the game of golf, “The best part of golf is that, even though your body is exercised physically, it’s mainly a mental game.” In addition to his academic accomplishments, he served as an elder at the Lincolnton congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and spent many hours volunteering his time teaching others from the Bible about the everlasting hope that Jehovah God, and his son, Jesus Christ, have in store for mankind. His parents, Earl Joseph Pfahlert and Ellen Clarinda Pfahlert of Toledo, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 43 years, Sandra Lee Kosuth Pfahlert; two sons, Mark Thomas Pfahlert and wife, Vasiliki Bolla-Pfahlert, Raleigh, NC, and Matthew Joseph Pfahlert and wife, Nana Pfahlert, Hickory, NC; his grandson, David Mark Pfahlert, Raleigh, NC; his brother-in-law, Joseph Kosuth; and nieces, Noema and Klio Kosuth, all of Rome, Italy. He also is survived by many, many close friends that he considered family.

Anna Carson, 88, Safety Harbor, died August 6, 2007. She is survived by a son, Robert Montgomery, and two nieces.

Parker E. Olney, 89, Safety Harbor, died August 8, 2007.

Frank R. Percival, 82, Safety Harbor, formerly of Deptford, NJ, died August 11, 2007, at Consulate Health Care of Safety Harbor. Born October 31, 1924 in Camden, NJ, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in WWII. He was a retired member of the sheet metal workers union, Local 19 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a life member of VFW Post #7927, Blackwood, NJ. He is survived by his companion Rosalie Giansante, Palm Harbor; one daughter, Debra (Steve) Sherbuk, Clearwater; one brother, Gerald, Camden; and two grandchildren, Taryn and Jason Harrison.

Paul Emile Marcotte, 64, of Largo, died August 21, 2007, in a fire at his home in Bay Ranch Mobile Home Park. He was born in Barton, VT, and moved to Florida in 1972 from Athol, MA. He was the retired owner of Seminole Mold of Florida. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by a son, David Marcotte (Teri), and a grandson, Christopher Marcotte, all of Safety Harbor; two sisters, Claire Bishop, and Yvette Wheeler; and a brother, Robert Marcotte, all of Massachusetts; his ex-wife, Bonnie J. Marcotte, Seminole; and close friend Pam Bowlin.

Anne Aussiker, 77, Safety Harbor, died August 24, 2007, at Consulate Health Care. There are no known survivors.

Sheila M. Glenn, 70, Safety Harbor, died August 25, 2007. Born Nov. 22, 1936, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 42 years, Richard Glenn. Survivors include his sister, Marcia; sons: Jeff, Palm Harbor, Kevin, and Scott, Clearwater; daughters: Deborah Nordwall, Minnesota, Linda Scalish, Winter Park, and Dawn Clouser, Pennsylvania; along with 11 grandchildren.

Pauline Anderson Larson, 84, Safety Harbor, died August 30, 2007. She was born June 27, 1923, in Woden, Hancock Co., IA, to William and Bertha Hammond Anderson. She was the oldest of 14 children: John, Evelyn, Alvin (dec), Richard (dec), William (dec), Joseph, Melvin (dec), Ellen, Sandra, Vickie, Elaine, Carl and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gene Larson. She is survived by her two daughters, Anita LaBotte Spencer and her husband Lafe, Diane LaBotte Richardson and her husband Craig; four grandchildren, Renee Spencer Smith (Chris), Todd Richardson, Lafe Spencer Jr., and Wendy Richardson Nagel (Ed); and nine great-grandchildren, Nicole Michele Spencer, Sinnette Lafayette Spencer, Justin Christopher Spencer, Zachery Daniel Spencer, Collin Todd Richardson, Katelyn Diane Nagel, Mary Grace Richardson, Nicholas Neal Nagel, and Isabella Grace Smith.

Mayola M. Olgeaty Willoughby, 89, Safety Harbor, formerly of Solvay, NY, died August 30, 2007. Born in Solvay, she was a graduate of Solvay High School and had worked as a teller for Solvay Bank. Mayola was a former member of the Solvay United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Frank Willoughby; daughters, Judith (James) DeLucia of Solvay, Wendy (James) Coher of Lakeland; sons, Frank Jr. (Joanne) of Hollywood, FL, James (Bonnie) of Baldwinsville; sister, Ann Tarolli of Clearwater, FL; 7 grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
