Oldsmar Names Director Of Planning And Redevelopment |

Oldsmar City Manager Bruce Haddock has
named Marie Dauphinais the new director of planning and
redevelopment. Her appointment took effect August 1 after acting in
the position since its vacancy four months ago.
Dauphinais started with the City of
Oldsmar in February 1987 as a planner in the department. She holds
a Masters' degree in public administration, is certified by the
American Institute of Certified Planners (A.I.C.P.) and is a
Certified Floodplain Manager by the Association of State Floodplain
Managers (ASFPM).
As director of planning and redevelopment,
Dauphinais is responsible for overall management and supervision of
the department. Department staff evaluates and amends the
Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code, processes all
development plans, and coordinates planning matters requiring
collaboration with county, state and federal agencies.
Additionally, the Department is responsible for long range planning
projects and studies as well as coordination of the National Flood
Insurance Program Community Rating System.
